Kids need to participate in strength training

Does your child play competitive sports and wants to have a competitive edge during games? We believe kids should participate in strength training under the supervision of qualified professionals.

Engaging in consistent strength training 2-3 times a week enhances physical and mental well-being by boosting strength, muscle mass, balance, coordination, and bone density. These benefits are crucial for a healthy body, especially with age. Strength training also improves mental health, boosting self-esteem and confidence. This positivity can lead to a more optimistic outlook and increased resilience in life. Additionally, it enhances work ethic by fostering discipline and commitment. Achieving fitness goals through strength training can build determination and perseverance, benefiting various aspects of life.

Strength training is effective for stress management, reducing stress and anxiety by releasing endorphins. Regular sessions provide a healthy outlet to cope with daily challenges.

Lessons learned from exercising and playing sports in youth shape attitudes towards health and fitness in adulthood. An active lifestyle from youth sports improves physical and mental health, reducing stress. Habits and routines developed through sports activities help individuals stay motivated and committed to staying active as they age, leading to a healthier life. Recognizing the skills and values acquired through sports enables individuals to benefit from an active lifestyle and its rewards throughout their lives.

Individualizing training programs for each athlete allows us to meet your child where they are physically and progress them accordingly. We encourage everyone to challenge themselves, leading to accomplishing tasks they didn't think possible before. What is more empowering than that! One of our goals is to teach your child how to move and coordinate their body in a safe manner so we can reduce the risk of injury out on the field or court.

Here at Victory Performance we create safe strength training programs that include speed and agility and strength exercises using various equipment such as bands, cables, free weights, and body weight. We build the foundation with each athlete and progress exercises and intensity as the child's skill progresses. Despite myths and concerns, injuries are a part of training and in everyday life. Our facility prioritizes safety by implementing strict protocols in the weight room. Our team ensures safe exercise execution, reducing injury risks. We educate on warm-up, cooldown, rest, and recovery to promote a healthy body and empower athletes.
